This simple and savory French dressing is great on a wide variety of salads, stores well, and is easy to make. It is a lot cheaper than a storebought dressing and has no preservatives or other wacky things so commonly found in commercial dressings.
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon paprika
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
Whisk together the lemon juice. sugar, and spices. Slowly add the oil, whisking constantly until the dressing is smooth. Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve. Mix or shake before serving.
